We believe that those in poverty deserve dignity and hope. The sad truth is that the current social safety net system is impeding those in poverty and trapping them in a cycle that they cannot escape. Currently the system only seeks to make poverty comfortable for those in it. Despite many efforts it does not work to help move people into self-sufficiency and robs them of the dignity they deserve.

With a focus on building paths out of poverty through work training, assistance, and support systems, we can restore the intentions of the safety net system in our country. 

There is hope that through strategic reforms we can build a pathway out of poverty. It is not a simple single-step solution but rather a series of changes that will help restore the heart of our safety net system into one that helps those in need and brings opportunity and hope to underserved communities and individuals.
